Game-changing players to watch Shane DeCillo, RB, Trabuco Hills – Rushed for 1,552 yards and 13 touchdowns last season Aaron Dupin, QB, Foothill – Transfer quarterback takes over reigns of Foothill’s spread offense. League game you can’t miss – Foothill vs. Trabuco Hills. This should be another hard-fought game and will likely decide the league title. Biggest question – Will there be a clear-cut No. 1 team to emerge before the fall? Outlook – Taking a look at the returning all-league players and it would be safe to assume that this is league is wide open. Foothill, last year’s league champion, has only one. Trabuco Hills return the league’s top running back in Shane DeCillo. However, the question is: Who will block for DeCillo? Trabuco Hills had four seniors listed on its projected starting lineup on the offensive line last season. Huntington Beach qualified for the playoffs last year and will likely be in contention this year as well. The quarterback combination of Sean Guite and receiver Kaller Roemer will drive defensive coordinators crazy. El Toro might be the wild card in this league. The Chargers are heading into their fifth year under coach Jake Haley. El Toro lost three league games by eight points or less last season. Northwood and Woodbridge both struggled last season. |
