June 4, 2009 - Huntington Beach High School

The Huntington Beach Oilers concluded the 09 Spring Football season with an intersquad scrimmage with a crowd of over 100 on the sidelines watching the preview of the fall season.  Set up as a blcak vs white jersey,  on lookers were able to view all the different looks we may see from  the Oilers this upcoming season.  The scrimmage was followed by a BBQ sponsored by the boosters club.

On the spring scrimmage, Head Football Coach Eric Lo commented " I thought the scrimmage went really well.  Both teams played very hard and executed their assignments fairly well.  We showed that we have some good speed on both sides of the ball. 
At this point in the year we are further along than we have been in the past, in terms of understanding our offensive/defensive concepts and position technique.  Looking forward to a good summer! " .
